The Lakeport Speeway will represent the N.C.R.A. for the “Around the Lake Business Fair” to be held Sunday March 15th from 10am to 4pm in the theatre building at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Admission to the public is free.
This expo, put on by Karen Long and Kendra Runyon of Big Diva Promotions, will bring together Lake County businesses and the public to network, socialize, and explore the many possible business opportunities in and around Lake County.
The big white Lakeport Speedway souvenir trailer will be in attendance to introduce local businesses to the advantages of advertising at the races, and to offer to the general public racing souvenirs, pictures, and those 2009 front and pit gate season passes (see the Lakeport Speedway stimulus package article below).
For more details on the expo, browse the Lake County News article.
In 2008, a gate was installed in the turn two exit in response to the number of serious multi-car wrecks that had occured over the years when a car tried to exit the track under the green flag.

Lakeport Speedway has launched a new site for the sale of Racing Images and Souvenirs. Just like the big white trailer, but without the parking hassle in your home.
On this site, you will be able to find galleries of images taken by our track photographer throughout the season, as well as lists of souvenirs and other goodies you can purchase online.
Keep checking in throughout the season after each event for new pictures, and as new items become available.
